Cartoon poet

He was such a cartoon, they would  say. A cartoon poet is not much to guffaw about. He is a bare outline of a poet posthumorously. We mean posthumorously and we repeat it is not a typo. It is another thing that it is posthumously.

Guffaw is intransitive by old grammar,. that is before humor. We do not see any reason why we cannot guffaw transitively. Now we are posthumorous and we can say cartoon poets are easily guffawed.

In any case cartoon poets are just outlines .You can put any flesh and blood in them. Cartoons can do transitive things ,posthumorously .
