Waterlilies

Chinaman who writes poem has never been in a stone boat waiting for the rain to begin on the lake.Mom and mom’s mom together sing the song of Peking waterlilies ,bending due to the raindrops falling on them.

Chinaman is a poet who has never been to Peking. But he knows from mom’ s song how the pretty waterlilies in the lake tilt and pour rain in the lake, turn uptight to collect more rain, to pour more water into water.

Chinaman has never been in a stone boat.

Indiaman is imaging lotuses in ponds with glistening pearldrops on their leaves. The lotus leaves carry their pearls in the wind and sometimes due to the rain they drop them into water.
