Exeunt (Rosenkrantz and Guildenstern)

The Gurkha guard is tapping the earth for past facts and future possibilities at this midnight hour . His rhythmic stick is exploring the earth and thereby time for possible deviancy in human behavior. In the meanwhile a keyword that seems to be coming is “nishkraman” ,Sankrit for exit. Nishkraman is leaving, not sure whether for a while or never to come back.

“Exeunt”- Rosencrantz and Guildenstern :

Exeunt is a stage direction- “They leave” .R&G are preparing to leave the stage temporarily so that Hamlet will leave the stage and not come back as directed by Claudius. Because Claudius wanted to play the role of Kismet. But the Gurkha guard’s stick taps the ground for knowledge of not merely past deviancy but for future facts as well.

Exeunt Rosencrantz and Guildernstern:

Never to come back to the stage. Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are dead. For a moment Hamlet gives the stage direction taking the role of Kismet . The Gurkha guard has taken the cap into his hands and tucked the bamboo stick under his arm. The sound of his heavy boots is trailing away into the night.
